WOMEN FOR CHANGE NETWORK HAPPY HOUR
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 5TH
PUTTING CHILDREN FIRST: Where Do Your Candidates Stand?
- WHEN: Tuesday, October 5th; 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm, program begins at 6:00 pm.
- WHERE: p:ear; 338 NW 6th Ave, Portland, Oregon.
- WHAT: This happy hour will focus on the November election and how Oregon’s candidates running for Congress, Governor and the State Legislature weigh in on issues affecting kids. Each candidate will be given two minutes to talk about his/her campaign. The event will also feature speaker Adam Davis of the public opinion firm Davis, Hibbitts & Midghall who will share his view of the election season and voter attitudes. As always, there will be drinks and appetizers, in addition to opportunities to mingle with candidates and other WFCN members.
- COST: Free for WFCN members (or women who become members at the event); $25 for nonmembers.

- SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY: Invite your male friends to join you for this event–after all, they vote too! As always, be sure to invite any woman you know as well.
