“Deep dish or thin crust?” Why aren’t the candidates talking about poverty?

After two conventions and more than twenty debates, there has still been almost no discussion of the 16 million US children in poverty this election.

One in five US children live in poverty, making child poverty the highest it has been in 63 years. We want to know what our candidates plan to do about it in their first 100 days.

We are asking our candidates to change the debate. We are asking them to #TalkPoverty.

To find out where your candidates stand on children’s issues, visit our election center today.
