The award was presented by the Oregon Latino Health Coalition at the annual Health Equity Dinner, where advocates gathered to celebrate the passage of Cover All Kids (SB 558). The Oregon Latino Health Coalition is the only Latino-led, Latino-accountable health policy advocacy organization in Oregon dedicated to eliminating Latino health disparities.

The Oregon Latino Health Coalition and Children First worked together to advocate for Cover All Kids through Children First’s United for Kids initiative. Bringing together over 100 partner organizations, United for Kids champions legislative policies that even the playing field for children in the state. Children First is thrilled to celebrate this historic achievement that will address the health disparities faced by Latino children, ensuring that all kids have the opportunity to grow up healthy and reach their full potential.
